It's an air driven die grinder (also using an 1/8" collet, as does the Dremel) to Aloris or equal AXA holder, using a slightly modified boring bar holder as the starting point, and not compromising the function and performance of the boring bar holder in any way.

With a drill chuck you can use 1/8" Dremel tools plus 1/4" shaft grinding stones. Take the chuck off and use any number of grinding wheels that will fit a 10mm shaft. A Dremel tool is a VERY poor substitute for a tool post grinder. Their bearings are not even properly seated in their mountings. You can improve the performance of the Dremel tool by taking the housing in 2 pieces,and exposing the bearings in their seats.
