After years of procrastinating I finally broke down and bought a Manual Bridgeport Mill(see pics in next post). It's in pretty good shape, could use a good cleaning and paint, but not bad for $1,200.00. It has a 1 horse power, 3 phase motor and came with a Bridgeport vice, a set of 1/2 inch table clamps, a nice new drill chuck and a set of collets.

I use my round bar BP M1 mill weekly for small projects. I converted the 3 phase to accept an ABB VFD and 220 single phase. I added a small break resistor (radiator) to control the motor with a heat sink plate behind the knee. My motor does not exceed 130 degrees F even after continuous run. This is just my take.
