Occasionally I get out my stained glass diamond grinder and bring the diamond wheel to the glass. This is useful if I need to remove 1/8" or something like that. Lately I have been using a 400 grit diamond hand pad to edge seam my glass. It is light, fast and does the job of removing the sharp edge, which is my primary task with the sander.
