I wouldn't of bought the jig, but a guy was moving and selling brand new Veritas planes/jigs/etc for 50% retail. So without a second thought, I just bought the MkII jig and a round jig that came with it. Normally I just spend 2-3 minutes going from Fine -> X. Fine -> XX. Fine -> Strop on a chisel / iron and it's shaving quality.
